Riverton Mayor Bill Applegarth Endorses Carl Wimmer

Dear Riverton Resident,

I am supporting Republican Carl Wimmer for re-election in House District 52. I know Carl and his opponent, Democrat Dave Hogue very well. They are both good honest men, they have integrity, and a strong work ethic. However, we must have Republican Carl Wimmer as our representative in House district 52. Carl helped Riverton City to receive $1.5 million from the legislature for road projects west of the Bangerter Hwy. This is critical to Riverton. Having our Representative in the Democrat/minority party, would not serve the needs of our city well.

There is nothing more important for Riverton than receiving financial and other help from the state for road projects west of the Bangerter. A Democrat will not be able to get us the help for our transportation projects; there is simply too much competition for those transportation dollars from others in the majority party.

I am voting for Carl Wimmer to once again be the Representative for House District 52. In my opinion, a vote for Carl is a vote to help Riverton.

I appreciate Carl’s work on keeping state budgets low, legislation he has written for the safety of our children and grandchildren, and the conservative family values he has. Please join me at the polls and vote for Carl Wimmer.
